Book now - 10% discount on bookings before 24 February

Take time out of the office to find out what the critical issues for business are:

  • what research has made a difference to the bottom line
  • what the latest thinking in B2B research is
  • gain insights from stimulating keynote speakers

The annual BIG Conference returns to the Belfry hotel in the Midlands on Wednesday 25 April, with an innovative programme of papers and workshops. NOTE – This year the conference begins on Wednesday afternoon with an updated perspective of the impact of social media, gamification and other new technologies on B2B research from the ‘Millennials’ as well as three training workshops.

Make connections, by taking a little time out of the office to re-engage with the real world. It takes face-to-face contact to really form new networks, learn new methods, identify new ideas, and find inspiration for driving your business forward. Learn from some businesses that are bucking the trend and finding ways to grow despite the current, uncertain economic climate.

Take away insights from our two keynote speakers: Professor Patrick Barwise, emeritus professor of management and marketing at London Business School, and chairman of Which?, and John Gambles, chairman of Quadrangle Group.

Patrick Barwise

Patrick, one of the leading specialists on marketing, especially brands, advertising and customer focus, delighted the audience in 2011 with a mix of erudite theory and enlightening case studies on how to achieve long term organic profit growth through customer focus and innovation. He returns to talk about his much acclaimed book ‘Simply Better’, which stimulated the conference theme in 2012.

John Gambles

John, one of two founding partners of Quadrangle, started his career at JWT, the advertising agency. Although John has always been a strong advocate of research and its contribution to business profitability, having worked with senior management teams and at Board level for many years, he remains highly critical of the research industry. In his view, its obsession with process has been very damaging to the ability of research professionals to achieve the impact they could/should have in the Boardroom. In 2007 Quadrangle was re-launched as a research consultancy, focusing on the value of usable research. John will be examining how the research industry has changed over the last 25 years.
