The Belfry

Among golf enthusiasts the Belfry will need no introduction. It is the UK headquarters of the PGA and you may have watched Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño win the Quinn Insurance British Masters at the Belfry in 2008 or you may remember the four Ryder Cup tournaments staged on the Belfry’s courses. 550 acres of North Warwickshire countryside form the backdrop to the three courses. Play the Brabazon course, an internationally recognised and revered championship course and home of the Quinn Insurance British Masters. Play the PGA National, England’s only PGA course. Or play the Derby – a shorter, more relaxed course for players of all levels.

Along with world-famous golfing facilities, The Belfry offers fine dining in its restaurants and bars and even boasts its own blend of coffee so delegates can look forward to a gastronomic treat. Some of the bedrooms have stunning views of the golf courses, others offer panoramas of the hotel grounds.

The hotel’s leisure club features an indoor heated swimming pool, two spa pools, a sauna and a solarium. As if the BIG conference sessions aren’t exciting enough, the unforgettable “Fire and Ice” experience promises ‘cleansing steam, piercing ice showers, aromatherapy, mood lighting and chilled water to purify and restore the body..’ In addition to golf, for the more energetic there are squash and tennis courts and a well stocked gym.

The hotel is located 10 miles from Birmingham International station and the airport, or 11 miles from Birmingham New Street station.
